Ensuring the Best Experience

At Platinumhair615, Emily goes out of her way to make sure her valued clients have the best experience possible, from the minute they enter the doors to the moment they leave her incomparable Hair Salon. Please take a moment to review her policies to ensure you understand the operations procedures. If you have any questions, just get in touch and she’ll be happy to help.

•SALON POLICIES• 

1. Payment is due upon completion of all  services rendered. 

2. At this time the only forms of payments I accept are cash and Venmo pmts. 

3. Please note that if you miss or cancel your scheduled appointment within 48 hrs any deposit made will be refunded to you, or can be upon your decision applied to a newly scheduled appointment. 

4. If the appointment was missed or canceled without 48 hrs notice, and a deposit was made, such said deposit will be forfeited and not returned or applied to another appointment. If a deposit was not made and the required 48 hrs notice was not given, you will be required to make the $75.00 deposit to reschedule a new appointment. Emily reserves the right not to service anyone who does not give the required notice. 

5. If 2 or more appointments are cancelled or missed back to back, Emily reserves the right to no longer service you or might require you to make the full amount of scheduled service to be paid prior to scheduling again. Please note this is Emily’s income and how she supports her family. So all missed appointments become dead time and money lost.

6. There is a STRICT NO REFUND policy. If for some reason you are unhappy with the outcome of your service, Emily asks that you bring it to her attention. That way yourself and Emily can discuss what needs to be done to make the situation right for you. Please note during your consultation if at anytime you feel that Emily and yourself are not on the same page rather it be with the tone of the color, the placement and size of highlights etc, please bring it up before services are started. If everything was done as discussed in consultation and you are unhappy with outcome, please note that there could be additional charges for product to correct. That is why it’s very important that after your consultation you and Emily are on the same page. That way there is no surprises on any extra charges if a correction is needed. 

7. Please understand that Emily’s goal is to always give her clientele exactly what they are wanting and paying for. But due to lots of photoshopping, filters and altered pictures, Emily cannot guarantee any identical looks or colors from a inspiration photo. Emily will strive to get as close as possible to all inspiration photos, but she cannot guarantee no results. And for that reason NO REFUNDS will be given if such should happen. 

8. Due to the small size of the private salon, we are unable to accommodate small children in the salon due to safety reasons. Any child under the age of 10 yrs old must be having services rendered. 

9. If a child under 10 is having services rendered, we ask that they are supervised and seated during entire visit. For any child over the age of 10 they must be accompanied by a adult at all times, and cannot be dropped off. If any child accompanies parent while parent is being serviced,  after being serviced or is waiting on parent and behavioral issues arise, Emily retains the right to reschedule appointment if the issues cause conflict with Emily servicing the parent. 

10. Due to the small space shared with other stylists. We ask that all clients keep noise level to a minimum. Loud noises echo inside the salon, which in return can interrupt the other stylists and their clients salon experience. 

11. Any client coming in for any chemical service is asked to not wear any kind of valuable clothing for their service. As we use lots of different chemicals that can be color altering to all clothing. Emily will drape you with a cape and towel to protect your skin, but cannot make any guarantee that clothing will not be effected by such chemicals. If for some reason your clothing comes in contact with any chemicals, water, etc during your visit Emily is not responsible for any said damages.

1. Due to covid 19 rules have been set in place. Please when you arrive text Emily @ 615-546-1507 with your name an let her know you have arrived. When SHES ready for you, she will text you to come in. Currently it is NO SITTING ROOM policy. And all clients should wait in vehicle. Once you receive your text please enter through front door where the handicap ramp is. Please do not enter through side door as that’s for employees only. Please while walking through salon you wear your mask. Emily does not require clients to wear mask nor does she. But if you prefer to wear, she has no problem with such. But due to other stylists and their clients while walking through you are required to wear mask. You can remove once you get to Emily’s room if like. 

2. All new clients please make plans to be at appointment minimum of 2hrs+ depending on service. Emily tries hard to accommodate one client at a time, and does not rush no services. She also doesn’t use dryers for lightening services to keep integrity of the hair, and keep it as healthy as possible. Therefore, allowing developer to do its jobs can take time.
